Berry Special Cheesecake

1-cup graham cracker crumbs

3 T. sugar

3 T. margarine, melted

2 8-oz.  pkgs. Cream cheese

3 eggs

1 t. vanilla

1-cup jelly or jam

Combine crumbs, sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of a 9-inch pan.  Bake at 325, 10 minutes.  Increase oven temperature to 450.

Combine softened cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.  Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.  Blend in vanilla.  Pour mixture over crust; bake at 450, 10 minutes.  Reduce oven temperature to 250; continue baking 25 to 30 minutes.  Remove from pan.  Before serving, top this jelly.
