Cabbage, Potato
and Tomato Soup
¼ cup butter or marg.
1 onion
3 potatoes
3 stalks celery
3 cloves garlic
4 ups water
2 cubes chicken bouillon
½ cup cabbage
1 28 ounce can whole tom with basil, undrained and chopped
½ cup salsa
1 t. hot sauce
1 t. Italian seasoning
Melt the butter and sauté onion, potatoes, celery and
garlic. Pour water and add
bouillon. Bring to boil; cook at boil
until potatoes are tender.
Stir in cabbage, reduce heat to med. Add tomatoes &
juice, salsa, hot sauce and Italian seasoning, stir and combine. Allow the mixture to simmer until flavors mix
and cabbage cooks.
