Here’s a new way
to serve tomatoes in the July – Sept. time when there seem to be no end to the
harvest. Serve them as an hordurve with
cheese and crackers.
Oven-dried Tomatoes
Cut 6 meaty plum tomatoes in half lengthwise. Toss into a Ziploc bag with 1 T. olive oil
and basil and other spices you may like.
Bake on a baking sheet at 250 for 8 hours.
