Pear Honey
9 cups ripe pears
1 cup crushed pineapple
rind and juice of 1 lemon
5 cup sugar
Wash, pare, and core pears.
Slice before measuring. Put
through a food processor or blender and grind.
Measure 9 cups ground pears and combine with pineapple in a large
kettle. Add lemon juice and rind. Add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring
frequently for 20 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars and seal while hot.
